Sarah is a trainer, teacher, and arts practitioner based in New York City, USA. She received her Master of Arts in Theatre from Miami University in 2013 and her PhD in Theatre from the University of Minnesota in 2019.

Sarah’s areas of expertise include all realms of soft skills development, with special emphasis on creative and experiential corporate training for team-building, communication, stress management, diversity and inclusion, presentation and interview preparation, and leadership. Sarah’s training experience in India includes working with corporations, consultancies, and business and performance schools throughout Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, and Pune since 2012.

Her training approach draws on her experience working as an applied theatre artist in the United States, where she conducted arts-based project management and workshops in university and public school settings. Sarah is currently writing a book on the rise and growth of creative-based corporate training in India, and her published work on arts-based training practices can be seen in academic journals including The Journal of Applied Theatre and Performance (2017) and TDR/The Drama Review (2020). ​

 

 

Sandra has been working online as an online speaking coach/consultant for the past 3 years. Her teaching experience is varied as she has taught in different countries and in different learning situations. From online classrooms across Asia to youth centres in Uganda to motorcycle academies in South Africa.

Sandra’s devotion to her students and her desire to see them succeed is what makes her an excellent coach. She approaches every lesson with energy and enthusiasm. In her classroom she will teach, coach and deliver.
